My name is Katie Manning. I am a graphic design student from SIUE (Southern Illinois University Edwardsville). I have graduated with a BA in Studio Art and a BFA in Studio Art with a focus in Graphic Design and a Minor in Art History. I started my creative journey in grade school which sound very cliche but that is the honest truth. I did not start taking art classes until I got into High School and I found myself taking more and more art classes to fill up my schedule because I loved it.

Upon graduating High School, I also had a love for computers and realized that I would not be able to part with computers. I needed a way to combine my love of art and my love of computers. I came across the graphic design program at SIUE and decided this was the route to go. Since then I have come to really appreciate everything that graphic design has to offer and still continue my graphic design journey today.

Since graduating college and starting my graphic design career, I have worked for a Professional Baseball Team, a newspaper company, and a printing company. I have learned everything from social media design to print design. I am also currently enrolled in graduate school earning my Management Science Masters through the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana online Gies Business School. I am combining my passion for graphic design with my new learned passion for business even in my current classes.
